We had a great solar power class on Thursday. Tons of thanks to Steve Duckworth for all the preparation he put into the class. Steve focused on how solar energy works, how solar panels work to capture it, the difference between solar panels and more. In Steve’s reserch he found that GoalZero has a great product and surpasses the competition. He had lots of informaiton on using a whole home natural gas/propane generator to help those who’s needs surpas GoalZero’s limitations. I will have a video of Steve’s class and a copy of his powerpoint presentation on the Solar Power/Wind Power page in the next couple of days.
Because of my hair color limitations lots of the Solar Power class soared over my head. We’ve been camping twice this past month and have used the Goal Zero products. They are the BOMB!!! We used the Escape 150 battery pack with 4 of the lights to light our camp and motorhome after dark. Also to plug our computer in to watch a movie at night.
